Julie Miller

Julie is a San Francisco native and has produced corporate, non-profit, special events and weddings since 1994. She is upbeat, gracious and diplomatic and has great appreciation for being of service. She meets vendors and clients with a high level of professionalism and personal courtesy, making her a gifted collaborator with an ability to effectively lead large, diverse teams of staff and vendors. Julie is uniquely skilled at addressing challenges on-site during events and fostering a calm environment in high-pressure situations. She has produced meetings and special events for individuals, high tech, financial services, pharmaceutical, healthcare and non-profit organizations.

In 2000, Julie launched Julie Miller Events and, in 2010, she joined with partners and re-branded the firm as QuickFox Events. Prior to beginning her business, she worked on the SFMOMA events management team and developed an invaluable expertise in venue operations, managing large, complex events during the dot-com boom. Prior to her time at SFMOMA, she coordinated projects for a strategic development, fundraising and special events firm, often high-profile political and non-profit events with national and international thought leaders. Today, she continues to enjoy helping clients navigate the intricacies of complex meeting and special event logistics.

Chiara Riggs Sill

Chiara is a focused, grounded and dedicated event professional and settles for nothing less than perfection. Throughout her ten-year career in events, she has earned a reputation for her ability to remain calm in the most stressful of circumstances and swiftly take charge of situations that require immediate solutions. Her experience in fundraising, venue management, and catering give her a diverse and solid foundation for managing complex event logistics as well as major donor and organizational politics. She is committed to providing excellent service to her clients, conducts her work with ease and loves what she does.

Prior to becoming an event management consultant, Chiara was Director of Corporate Programmes and Communications for the American Australian Association in Sydney, Australia. She also enjoyed time working in Washington, DC for the Capital’s premiere catering company Occasions Caterers, where she married her passion for food and event operations. Before adventuring from her home state of California, she was the Director of Special Events at the University of California Merced and played an instrumental role in the 2005 Grand Opening. It was at Merced where she developed her experience in fundraising campaigns and events. Chiara began her career as a venue manager, managing the Embarcadero Conference Center for Boston Properties in San Francisco. She is also President of Chiara Company.

Donna Wong

As a former restaurateur and luxury hotel executive, Donna is a natural at hosting and entertaining high-end clientele. She is focused, energetic and exceptionally skilled at managing travel for the most discriminating of clients. Her style and savvy reflect the properties she recommends to her clients. As Director of Entertainment Relations and Special Events for One & Only Palmilla, Travel + Leisure 2010 World’s Best Hotels – Top Resorts in Mexico and Central and South America, Donna excelled at managing celebrity and entertainment industry weddings and events, as well as collaborating on property launches for One & Only Resorts and Kerzner International Resorts. As an entrepreneur and restaurateur, she was recognized by Food & Wine Magazine for the gastronomic success of her China One restaurant. Like Donna’s charismatic model personality, China One evoked the allure of the A-listers who regularly dined at the West Hollywood establishment, enjoying unusual, innovative cocktails and gourmet cuisine based on Donna’s family recipes. Donna is also the owner of AllurePlus.

Courtney Norris

Courtney is a consummate professional and savvy negotiator. She brings to her work nearly two decades of experience as a hotelier at four and five star national and international properties. Now, as a third party planner, Courtney provides clients a rare and invaluable advantage in site searches and contract negotiations, given her deep, insider knowledge of hotel sales and contract negotiations. Her outstanding customer service skills and extensive experience enable her to find clients the perfect properties and venues and to always negotiate favorable rates, terms, and concessions. The combination of her Southern charm and ambitious Southern California drive make her an asset in any situation. Courtney’s career in the hotel business included serving an elite clientele as Director of Group Sales for One & Only Palmilla, Conde Nast Traveler’s Gold List 2010 - Top Resorts in the Americas. During her tenure as Senior Sales Manager at Omni Hotels and Resorts, she received Hotel Sales Executive of the Year Award. She also served as National Sales Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Hotels & Resorts, and was regularly recognized for her exemplary service and flawless attention to detail. Courtney is the President of Bespoke Travel LLC.

Our extended team consists of industry veterans who periodically manage and assist with programs, providing pre-conference and event support and on-site management. They are meeting and event professionals with expertise in various areas including event program management, transportation coordination, food and beverage operations, registration processes, technical and audio-visual support, and silent and live auction logistics.
