Décor: We transformed the San Francisco Food Bank Warehouse into a unique event space by creating reception and dining areas partitioned by walls of donated food stacked on palettes two stories high – large boxes of cereals created one wall, colorful canned foods another. We warmed the space with ambient lighting, fine linens and lush palms. Each table touted a striking centerpiece of fresh vegetables, cans of foods and a touch of flowers.

Cuisine: Renowned chef and author Joyce Goldstein orchestrated a team of sixteen chefs from celebrated San Francisco restaurants to create savory and sweet masterpieces. Master Sommelier Peter Granoff led a team of veteran sommeliers to serve guests at their tables, pairing fine wines with each course.

Unique Feature: Guests were asked, upon their arrival, to join a short assembly line and load food boxes that would later be distributed to families in need. The assembly line directly engaged the guests with the organizations mission in a meaningful way and had a powerful impact on their experience.
